Urban Youth Entrepreneurship Program

The Urban Youth Entrepreneurship Program is helping students explore their interest in pursuing a career in business and learn more about life. Our mission is to provide opportunity for students in poverty stricken communities and develop ethical leaders for a global society.

In the last several years Five Points Youth Foundation have re-focused their time and energy to social entrepreneurship for youth. We are living in a time where this generation is entrepreneurial driven and are more than qualified to start and run their own businesses. Unfortunately, not all students have the same opportunity – that is where the Urban Youth Entrepreneurship Program┬ácomes into play. Our focus is on entrepreneurial development specifically to high-school aged teenagers in urban areas. The program will consists of business workshops, hands-on business planning and an end-of-program project that will allow a select few to run and manage a franchise business. The goal of the program is to shift the mindset of these young adults and prepare them for the business oriented world.
